Control Video Worked with Washington Performing arts to tape their December 2020 performance at 6th and I featuring The String Queens.

“In this free preview of Home Delivery Plus, the adventurous and energizing D.C.-based trio The String Queens take the stage at Sixth & I in a festive mix of holiday favorites and pop classics. Our Mars Arts D.C. Ensemble-in-Residence, the Queens are celebrated for a repertoire ranging from the Baroque to the Jazz Age to today’s Billboard“Hot 100.” Their members have collaborated with the likes of Ledisi, Solange, Leslie Odom Jr., Janelle Monáe, Jennifer Hudson, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Common, and the late Aretha Franklin. All three are also frequent “collaborators” with dozens of local students, as music teachers in Washington, D.C. schools.”
Control Video was tasked with providing a video recording solution for WPA’s editors to cut a show out of. Control answered with a robotic camera solution that aided in getting the shots needed while adhering to health protocols at 6th and I.
