EVENTMGMT produced the 2018 NGHTMRE B4 Xmas Fall US Tour and called on Control Video to provide an LED Wall and Graphics operation solution to travel with the tour.
The tour had stops in a large range of venues, ranging from 1000 capacity to 5000+ capacity and Control Video was tasked to scale the LED wall to fill each stage appropriately. Control had the pleasure of working with EVENTMGMT Designer Kevin Longwell to come up with the best video solution to help his design come to life.
Control provided a 5.9mm LED package that included ground supported and flying capabilities, making it easy to customize the set for each room. For graphics, Resolume Arena 6 was used to scale the content to the stage for each show. ShowKontrol was deployed to sync the show’s intro video in perfect time.
The tour traveled with an A, B and C sized rig. When the stage required more production near the end of the tour, Control was able to utilize its west coast location to ship additional LED Panels to Seattle so the tour could travel down the west coast with additional video support.
Our digiled 5.9mm LED provided a bright, rugged, high resolution solution to display the artist’s visuals effectively. The ground support was easily built by local crews, and the panel’s quick lock mechanisms allowed panels to go up as fast as possible, keeping load-in and load-out times to a minimum.
Control Video’s solution resulted in a great looking, scalable show that wowed audiences across the country. Control is very thankful to have worked on this great EVENTMGMT production and help achieve the goal of executing this great design, no matter the venue.
